Hi guys, meet Pepper. I adopted Pepper from an animal shelter 4 years ago, and when I walked into the shelter, she caught my attention right away. I asked if I could play with her for a few minutes, and while we played around outside, I felt like I was making the perfect choice in taking her home. In a way, she’s sort of like my body guard. Every night when we go to bed, she goes downstairs and stares at the front door for a good 5-10 minutes. I always thought she had to pee or something, but that wasn’t it. My dad said that Pepper is a soul inside a dog that is protecting our family. So basically, Pepper was protecting the door so no burglars can come inside. And after 10 minutes, she would run up to my room, jump on my bed, and sleep in the corner. And if I closed my door, she would keep scratching it so I will open it. I guess she has to hear everything that is going on. 

It’s been 4 years, and Pepper is still here. If anything happened to her, I don’t know if I would be able to live. Pepper means the world to me.
